prion cabana <> outlook vista
A pair of structures located on a region of Second Life zoned exclusively for residential construction. The cabana is an examination of residential values in a virtual world devoid of climatic influence and the physical need for shelter, eschewing the signifiers of traditional residential construction in an attempt to serve the functional requirements of a fundamentally avian culture and take advantage of a beachfront setting as it enhances the social aspect of entertaining and the display of virtual artifacts. The second build, outlook vista, is a lookout tower that attempts to further blur the residential reading of the cabana by creating a more abstract experience of space and form, featuring a skin of animated text raining down upon a series of transparent panels.
